Emerging Animal Speciesin veterinary medicine and animal science (EAS) is a new fully open access publication that publishes scientific articles, reviews and short communications of a high scientific and animal welfare standards regarding companion, livestock, poultry, zoo and wild animal species, considered of emerging importance. High quality contributions are considered relevant, particularly those of high scientific importance and originality for Animal Production and Productivity, Animal Welfare, Animal Health, Animal Conservation, Food Security, Human Health and Nutrition, and Sustainability of Animal Agriculture and Livestock Systems. Studies without a robust scientific hypothesis or that are preliminary, or of weak originality are not appropriate for the journal.
